(This Help-page is mainly designed to be used with mIRC)

Okay, as you are here, it means you want to learn something about IRC. IRC means Internet Relay Chat. It is one of the most popular communication methods on the internet (if you leave out emails).

To chat over an IRC network you have to run a client on your computer. This is just a program that connects you to the IRC network and does most of the things for you.
